Four year deal will provide capacity to support future growth

Westcountry based Pavey Group has signed a four year contract with Open GI to provide systems across its branch network.

Pavey Group is one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the West of England, employing over 50 staff across five offices in Torquay, Exeter, Totnes and Teignmouth.

The company’s decision to adopt Open GI as their platform of choice is based on a desire to future proof their IT as they continue to expand and acquire brokers across the South West. The Group has added a further two new offices in the last three years.

Michael Pavey, Chairman of Michael Pavey Holdings Ltd, said: “Our objective at Pavey Group is to provide first class service with the aid of the latest technology. Open GI gives us the full range of solutions we need to meet these objectives and an overall trading system with the capacity to support future growth.

“Our staff are highly specialist in commercial and personal lines and want to work with solid, reliable technology that’s easy to use and doesn’t let them down. By partnering with a financially stable provider, like Open GI, that has over 40% of the broker market, we are effectively future proofing our business critical IT platform.”

Simon Hughes, Sales & Marketing Director, Open GI, said: “The contract with Pavey Group is one of an increasing number received by Open GI in recent months as a result of a series of new product developments. Like many expanding, acquisitive brokers, they understand the importance of investing in a system that’s sufficiently scalable to support increasing business volumes.”
