Thomas, Carroll signs four year deal

Open GI has signed a four-year deal with Welsh broker Thomas, Carroll Group, to supply systems to its 90-strong headquarters in Cardiff.

The contract follows a review of the group’s IT requirements and brings the number of staff using the Open GI system to 70.

Rhys Thomas, Managing Director, Thomas, Carroll (Brokers) said:: “Continued investment in our IT systems enables us to provide a highly professional and efficient service for clients. Our decision to commit to the Open GI platform was based on a number of factors. It is cost effective, integrates with other IT applications, and includes a whole host of new technology that will benefit our business. The new Open-i user interface will also provide a highly useable front-office environment.

“Trading using an IT platform that reduces overall administration and processing costs is vital.”

Simon Hughes, Sales and Marketing Director, Open GI, said: “The addition of Thomas, Carroll to our already strong list of Welsh broker contracts will further expand our presence in the market. We are pleased that such an important commercial player has made a long term commitment to the Open GI platform. They are highly ambitious and recognise that investment in IT is crucial for delivering quality service.”
