Workshops to focus on system enhancements and topical issues

Open GI is set to launch a new phase of product clinics next month to help brokers get the most out of their trading system.

The free of charge one-day clinics are being held at various locations across the UK and Ireland - the first of which is due to take place in Swindon on 2nd October. Each is designed to enable the functionality of the Open GI system to be explored in small workshops with expert consultants.

Almost 800 brokers have attended Open GI’s product clinics since they were launched in early 2006.

Brokers who attend get to choose from a variety of breakout sessions relating to system enhancements and topical issues. These have been continually updated to include a management information workshop and regulatory-related senior managers’ survival guide.

Simon Hughes, sales and marketing director said: “Product clinics are popular with brokers because they help them address technical issues in an informal environment. The Open GI system is so functionally rich that it’s not always used it to its full potential. Product clinics provide an ideal forum to ask questions and receive hands-on hints and tips from expert consultants.”

Product clinics are due to take place in the following locations:

? 2nd & 3rd October – Swindon, Cardiff

? 16th October - Nottingham

? 30th & 31st October – Stirling, Durham

? 13th & 14th November – Coventry, High Wycombe

? 27th & 28th November – Bromley, Horsham

? 11th December - York

Confirmed venues will be published in the events section of the Open GI website www.opengi.co.uk
