Emergency assistance company Universal Repair Services has invested £100,000 in Pinnacle Computer Systems' software to help propel its next phase of expansion.

The Kingston-upon-Thames company provides emergency repair cover for plumbing and heating services, and its major clients include utility companies and insurers.

URS said it plans to grow by 400% over the next two years and decided Pinnacle's software would best enable it to achieve this while maintaining high levels of service 365 days a year.

Marc Sutter, managing director of URS, said Pinnacle's software would provide it with a fully automated customer handling system that would enable it to prioritise inquiries.

Pinnacle's best known product is Service Director, which is used for planned maintenance and installation contracts.
