PowerPlace offered to whole UK broker market
PowerPlace is rolling out an extranet to give all brokers around the country access to its online commercial insurance marketplace.
Operations director Lee Anderson said: “Up until now, PowerPlace has only been available to Open GI users. We’ve had interest from non-OGI brokers ever since we launched back in April 2009, but we wanted to make sure we developed a system which recognised their different needs and not just rush out a poor imitation.
"Over the past year we’ve built up our panel of insurers and range of products as well as refined how PowerPlace actually works. We’ve put the extranet through a robust test period with a selected group over the past six months and are delighted to now be able to offer it to the whole UK broking community.”
Anderson added: “It means that brokers access an online commercial insurance marketplace that will deliver a range of quotes from just one set of data instead of having to trawl through different insurer extranets."
Insurers on PowerPlace include Allianz, RSA, NIG, LV=, Zurich, Groupama, Fortis, Equity, MMA Insurance and Towergate Underwriting.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
