Preferential Group appoints Marc Jacobs as chairman
The Preferential Group has appointed Mick Jacobs as its chairman.
Jacobs has formerly held various management positions at Optimum Underwriting, the Group’s underwriting arm.
He will join Steve Nickerson, managing director, and David Marshall, finance director of Preferential, assisting with the strategic development of the Preferential Group.
Steve Nickerson, managing director of Preferential, said: “I am delighted that Mick has taken up this position. He has a wealth of specialist knowledge, both in underwriting, travel insurance and business development and will add to the strategic growth of the group.”
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
