Team Aon got its sails in a twist at the Insurance Times Regatta as it clashed with race officials over the race rules.
In race one, Aon led for a "glorious five minutes", oblivious to the storm brewing around it.
It wasn't until some of the other yachts passed it that the crew realised it had been penalised by race officials.
It was quickly recalled to the start line for starting ahead of the race line.
Crew member Angus Millgate said: "There was no way we were over the line. In fact there were other teams who were ahead of us."
