Pet insurance provider Primary Direct has announced it is lowering its pet insurance premiums by 20%.
New rates start at £49.68 for cats and £81.68 for dogs.
The insurer offers cover at two levels - standard and deluxe. Standard cover insurers pets for up to £2,500 of veterinary fees, £1m in third party liability, and £300 for accidental death.
Deluxe cover includes up to £5,000 of veterinary fees, £2m in third party liability, £300 alternative medicine and £500 for accidental death.
