One-stop-shop for placing smaller risks

Primary General announced the launch of its new tradesman policy, which is its first ‘online only’ product.

The tradesman insurance policy is designed to meet the needs of self-employed persons and small businesses with up to 10 employees, including limited companies, undertaking a variety of manual, clerical and professional trades who wish to protect their business.

The policy includes public and products liability as standard with optional covers available for employers’ liability, tools and goods in transit.

Simon Taylor, marketing director, commented: “The introduction of the new tradesman policy is an expansion to our current online offering. It will mark the first of several new products and services due to be released over the coming months via Primary General Online”.

Primary General Online provides 24/7 access to a ‘one-stop shop’ for placing smaller risks. Supported by direct access to local underwriters, this provides the best of both worlds and gives the flexibility our brokers demand. The internet platform is quick and easy to use and enables brokers to quote, incept business and produce accurate documentation in a matter of minutes.

Tradesman is available via Primary General Online only.
