Travel insurance provider Primary Insurance has entered into a partnership, thought to be worth £4m, with The Travel House Group - a specialist in late availability sales and flight-only business with a retail network of more than 100 shops.
This means that Primary is now providing a flexible travel insurance product to three trading companies - Travel House, including Sibbald and Callers Pegasus, Sky Deals/Manchester Flights and Team Lincoln, all part of the Thomson Group.
Primary says one of the product's main attractions is the realistic levels of commission available through a net-rated scheme.
Medical cover up to £5m is included, as well as up to £25,000 personal accident protection, up to £2m of personal liability and up to £20,000 legal expenses cover.
Cancellation cover is available up to £5,000, personal effects and baggage are up to £1,000, with travel delay being up to £500 and personal money up to £250.
Primary operations manager Adele Dawson commented: "When Primary was approached to provide a quotation, for all three trading companies, it was confident that its rates and terms were competitive enough to successfully obtain the business.
