Cath Timberlake joins from NIG

QBE has appointed Cath Timberlake as commercial manager in its Leeds office.

Timberlake will report to Elliot Miller, QBE general manager north & Ireland.

Timberlake, previously area underwriting manager at NIG, has also worked at Eagle Star, Independent, RSA and Hiscox.

Terry Whittaker, managing director distribution of QBE European Operations, said: “Cath will be a valuable asset to our Leeds team. We are dedicated to building up our regional network and are very pleased to have someone of Cath’s calibre and abilities joining our Leeds office.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
