Top-10 insurer buys software suite in five-year deal

Quindell Rob Terry

Quindell Portfolio has signed a five-year contract for its market-leading Challenger ICE software suite with one of the top 10 UK motor insurers.

The initial licences and maintenance are worth about £3.5m and multi-million-pound service revenues and continuing support are expected during the minimum five-year term of the deal.

Quindell said the contract meant it was providing the insurer with a complete integrated technology platform for its UK operation. The Challenger ICE Policy will enable the insurer to design and launch products within days.

The software suite includes policy, claims, analytics and the Napier rating engine. Quindell is a provider of expertise in software, consultancy and technology-enabled outsourcing in insurance and related sectors.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
