Seems the good people at the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) have taken the Easter bunny, traditionally a symbol of fertility and new life, a little too literally.

Backchat hears that at least six of them will be celebrating Easter Week with a formal warning, with another 16 under investigation, after an email slipped by the censors.

Seems the problem was that the email had a 'none-too religious' interpretation of what the Easter bunny should look like.

Bad enough that six employees should get a rap over the knuckles, but we have since learned that the offending message originated from an ex-employee. Do we see a pattern emerging here?

A spokesman for MIB declined to comment on the affair.
