Two new heads for RBSI's pet and travel businesses

RBS Insurance said it has a "renewed focus" on growing its pet and travel Insurance business following the appointment of two new bosses.

Adam Whiteley has been appointed as the new head of pet insurance.

Whiteley held previous roles within the business in management and product development in motor personal lines and starts the new role in December 2010.

Tom Bishop is appointed as the new head of travel insurance from next month.

Bishop has previously worked for Europ Assistance, Travelex and latterly as operations manager in the travel & medical assistance unit of RBS Insurance.

The two new roles were previously combined.

Alastair Grier, commercial director, growth portfolio at RBS Insurance said: “These senior appointments illustrate our ambition to deliver sustained growth from these two business areas."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
