RenaissanceRe has announced that vice president and controller Mark Wilcox has been promoted to senior vice president and chief accounting officer.
Neill Currie, chief executive, said: “The accounting function is more important than ever as we seek to apply the highest standards of compliance and controls at both a corporate level and throughout our organisation.”
Prior to joining RenaissanceRe in 2003, Wilcox was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was senior manager of audit and business advisory services within the firm's insurance practice.
