Repair and maintenance firm says insurance work growing

Property repair and maintenance specialist Rok has said its results to 31 December 2008 are expected to be in line with its expectations following the interim management statement on 5 November 2008.

The company said its response maintenance operations continue to grow strongly.

It said: “Further insurance customers Nationwide, AXA and Fortis have extended their relationship with Rok during 2008, which will benefit our revenues in 2009. We have also extended our contract with Zurich Insurance for a further five years. With demand for our response maintenance services continuing to increase, we have recently opened a new claims management centre in Mansfield to handle the current and expected future growth in volumes.”

Rok reported less success in its housing and government work.

Rok will be announcing its preliminary results on 12 March 2009.
