Candover advisor joins Insurer

Royal & Sun Alliance have appointed Johanna Waterous as a new non-executive director.

Waterous will take up the position on 20 May and brings wih her over 20 years of management consultancy experience. Currently a specialist advisor to Marks & Spencer and Candover, she joined McKinsey & Company in 1985 before retiring from the firm last year.

She was made partner with McKinsey in 1991 and her roles included Co-leader, Global Marketing and Sales Practice, from 2005-2007 and Director and Leader of their Consumer Practice Unit and the European Retail Practice from 1998-2005.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
