Insurer's property investor chief leaves.

RSA’s director of property investors, Nigel Salisbury, has defected to Marsh to head the broking giant’s UK real estate practice.

Salisbury is the second senior executive to leave RSA in as many weeks. The company revealed last week that Bridget McIntyre, UK chief executive, is stepping down to spend more time with her family. She will be replaced by Adrian Brown, UK operations director .

RSA said Salisbury would be succeeded by Julia Abrams, who was previously director of account management in the division.

Jeff Alpaugh, global real estate practice leader at Marsh, welcomed Salisbury’s appointment.

“Marsh sees exciting opportunities for further growth and deeper market penetration in this major global industry,” he said.

“With his extensive industry knowledge, deep understanding of both UK and international markets and proven track record for profitable growth, Nigel is exceptionally well placed to drive our activities in the UK and continue our international expansion. We are delighted to have an executive of Nigel’s calibre and experience join our senior team and look forward to his contributions to our continued success.”
