Paul Hirst was previously the director of RSA Motability
RSA has appointed Paul Hirst as its new Mid Market Regions director.
He replaces Dan Wilkinson who left the company in February after just over a year at the company.
In his new role, Hirst will oversee a team of more than 450 people across the company’s regional footprint including its new trading sites in Redhill, Leicester and Edinburgh.
He has worked at RSA for almost 22 years, both in personal and commercial lines.
His most recent role was as director of RSA Motability, the division that provides cover for Motability Operations’ fleet of vehicles, which include powered wheelchairs and scooters.
RSA UK Commercial managing director Jon Hancock said: “Paul brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, not to mention real understanding of RSA’s business and our customers.
I’m sure he will bring great fresh perspective to Mid Market, helping to build on past successes and ensure we’re delivering sustainable profitable growth in a fiercely competitive environment.“
