The Smart & Cook Group has acquired two brokers this month, increasing its revenue by £1.5m.
It will merge A N Insurance Brokers' three offices in Grimsby, Immingham and Barton upon Humber with Smart & Cook's office in Grimsby's Customs House.
The broker's 20 employees will join Smart & Cook.
Smart & Cook managing director Paul Meehan said merging the offices would give the group critical mass in the area.
The group has also bought Castlegate Insurance Brokers in Stockton-on-Tees, the first insurance broker to be awarded ISO 9002.
Castlegate's 17 employees will transfer to Smart & Cook.
