The company behind Imarket is preparing to target overseas brokers as it looks to roll out the industry portal across Europe.
Peter Knowles, strategy and marketing manager at Polaris, has admitted that the technology company is currently looking to develop Imarket in Ireland.
He told delegates at the Insurance Times' SME conference that in order to roll out the product abroad, countries would need to have an “independent broker community” similar to that in the UK.
But Knowles added: “We need to finish the job in the UK first. But Ireland is the next territory.”
