Independent brokers, Smithson Mason Group (SMG), based in Leeds, has expanded its operation with a move to new waterfront premises in the city.
The building, a converted mill at Canal Place, is now home to 60 of the company's staff leaving its specialist professional risks unit at its existing Clarendon Road offices.
The firm's professional risks unit has seen a four-fold increase in business since 1995 while the number of staff has tripled over the same period. "We are looking forward to continued growth," said joint managing director Martin Hill.
