Loss adjuster SSL Claims has appointed Jon Holloway (pictured) as network surveyor director of its property division.

Holloway will manage the nationwide surveying network, recruit new surveyors and develop the buildings validation business.

He was previously a network manager for his own firm Waylett & Co, where he worked with Legal and General, Halifax, LloydsTSB and Homeserve.

SSL Claims joint managing director Julia Hewett said: “Securing the services of Jon means we can make a significant move into the property claims market.

“Jon brings with him a wealth of experience that, coupled with our existing business model, enables us to provide a truly nationwide and multi-disciplined offering to our principles. Jon’s appointment forms part of our continued growth and development into the claims management arena.”

Holloway said: “I am extremely excited to be joining SSL Claims. The company’s forward-thinking approach, drive for success and ambition to bring new products and services to the insurance market to the benefit of the insurer and policyholder alike left me with no doubt that I would like to be part of it.

“I am confident I can make a real difference in my position as network surveyor manager, and bring true independence back to buildings claims validation as well as a host of ancillary services to the construction industry.”
