Software Solutions Partners (SSP) has acquired the European INSURE/90 insurer systems business from Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).
The broker software house said it will initially run the operation as a separate business unit, to run alongside its existing corporate and intermediary divisions.
The acquisition will take the total staff count to 250 and add a further 25 European and UK insurers, from both commercial and personal lines, to the company's client base of over 1,000.
SSP's chief executive David Rasche said: “Our acquisition of the INSURE/90 system from CSC will help us to expand more quickly in the insurance company systems market, where we see a great future opportunity for both INSURE/90 and INSIGHT.”
