Biba chief executive Eric Galbraith has confirmed that head of technical services Peter Staddon is leaving the organisation.
In an internal message to Biba staff announcing Staddon’s departure, Galbraith says: “Peter’s wealth of knowledge and technical skill will be greatly missed. He has been on the Biba Executive for over 10 years, headed various technical committees, dealt with a huge variety of members’ enquiries and, most recently and importantly, succeeded in working with members to engage with the Export Credits Guarantee Department.”
Staddon, who joined Biba in 1996 to establish the technical services department and played a pivotal role in lobbying government organisations on broker issues, will leave at the end of this month.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
