FSA approvalThe FSA is to approve Illium Managing Agency to manage Lloyd's Syndicate 4040 with underwriting to start on 1 January 2004. Illium said reinsurer Imagine Group will provide an additional £15m of capacity for Syndicate 4040 for 2004. Capacity for 2004 will be between £95m and £100m.

Rhyme launchedTechnology company Rhyme Systems was launched today following a £20m management buy-out of the UK asset management operations business of Misys Asset Management Systems.

Hearn D&O facilityMarcus Hearn & Co has launched a D&O underwriting facility. It said the facility was designed for brokers with SME clients. The facility is underwritten by ACE Insurance.

Rutter joins JLTFormer The Underwriter chief executive Keith Rutter has joined JLT Risk Solutions.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
