Link Underwriting has transferred its motor notification service to Rubicon Claims in Solihull.
New Autoglass chief Autoglass has named Nigel Doggett as its new managing director. He will take over from Ian Carlisle, who is leaving after seven years with the company.
Carlisle will become chief operating officer of HomeServe, part of the South Staffordshire Group.
Free DAS service
DAS Legal Expenses has launched a free online business law service.
DASbusinesslaw provides an archive of legal, financial and commercial information. The site also provides updates on new and topical areas. The service is available to DAS employment practices protection and stand-alone commercial legal expenses policies.
Damage to a parked vehicle is the most common motor claim, according to claims management specialist Claimsplus. According to the company, 13.92% of incidents related to a parked vehicle and 12.6% concerned a third party cutting across a driver's path. Also 10.25% of claims were the result of a third party hitting a driver from behind.

Norwich Union has been selected to provide household and creditor insurance for Scarborough Building Society (SBS) customers.
The UK's largest general insurer has previously provided mortgage indemnity guarantee cover for the building society. This new three-year agreement comes into effect from 1 May.
