Sirius replacementInsurance software specialist Sirius has confirmed that its non-executive director Mike Anstee has replaced Ian Bullen as chief executive of Solutions at Sirius. The company said this was a temporary position while it found a permanent replacement.

St Paul settlesSt Paul Travelers has agreed to pay $90m to settle a group of lawsuits related to its coverage of asbestos producer Johns-Manville Corporation, said a report. Under the terms of the settlement, claimants allegedly injured by Manville products who filed direct actions against Travelers Property casualty will share a $70m fund set up by the insurer.

Endurance ratingsThe ratings for Bermuda-based Endurance Speciality Insurance remain unaffected by the announcement of capital management initiatives by its parent company Endurance Speciality Holdings, said AM Best.
