A dedicated insurance policy for nannies has been launched by SVB Underwriting Services and insurance broker Lawsons.
Called Nannycare, the policy covers nannies for public liability, personal possessions and valuables, personal accident and legal expenses.
The policy is available for NNEB qualified nannies and those with more than one year's experience.
Nannycare will be sold through many of the UK's nanny agencies, 30 of which took part in a consultation exercise to indentify the type of cover nannies need.
