Towergate Underwriting Group has appointed software house Policy Master as a technology partner.
Initially, Towergate will be installing Policy Master's broker system Sirius at MIA General Insurance in Stevenage, which specialises in providing cover for medical practitioners.
The technology will provide a centralised accounting and administration system.
In the past three years Towergate has completed 24 acquisitions and started five new businesses. It now employs more than 500 people and writes a gross written premium of £170m.
Group chief executive, Peter Cullum said: “To support our growth plans, we needed to streamline our technology and to partner a major supplier.”
