Police and insurance investigators believe they have broken a fraud ring involving thousands of pounds of questionable motor claims.
Three men and three women from Leicester have been charged with conspiracy to defraud insurers after a joint probe by police and insurance investigation company Ravenstone UK. The accused were due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court as Insurance Times was going to press on Tuesday.
Ravenstone UK managing director Bob Barnett said: “This case is a good indication of the synergy that can be achieved when investigators, insurers and the police work together.”
