New research reveals affect of telematics on older and younger driver premiums

Telematics is providing motorists under the age of 25 with their cheapest policies, according to the latest research from Consumer Intelligence, published exclusively by Insurance Times.

But older drivers are struggling to find the same value for money from the technology.

However, new technology could open up the benefits of telematics to older drivers.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
