Insurancetimes.co.uk has launched a section that reveals new tenders daily.

Below are a few of this week's highlights:

Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council has complained about delays in negotiating cover. A spokeswoman said the current renewals are causing "many difficulties".

She said: "We can't budget properly this year because we don't know how much our insurance will to cost."

Norwich City Council echoed this theme. The council said their main insurers weren't "playing fair" during negotiations.

A spokeswoman said that several leading insurers "do not seem interested in large municipal risks."

Meanwhile, the University of Bradford has put out a tender for a broker to negotiate its insurance cover.

The University is looking to choose between Aon and Willis and is believed to be seeking "significant savings" from the use of broker services.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
