Lloyd's broker appoints commercial director in Dutch office.
THB has announced the appointment of Ernst-Jan Henkelman as commercial director of its Amsterdam office.
Henkelman’s remit is to develop further the company's premier book of business with existing and new business contacts. He will take up his appointment on 1 December 2008.
THB said he is a well known personality in the reinsurance environment with a wealth of experience in the market, lately as head of facultative continental Europe and member of the Global GC Fac Management Group.
Joaquim Caria, executive director of the Amsterdam office, said: “I am very pleased that Ernst-Jan has chosen our team to continue his reinsurance career and I look forward to working closely with him in our core markets."
