Specialist broker THB has strengthened its London Market capabilities with the appointment of Perry Lyons to the role of Motor Fleet Broker.
Perry joins THB from Lloyd’s broker Houlder Insurance Services and will have responsibility for maintaining and developing the motor fleet account.
THB Director Darren Nightingale, who heads the Motor Fleet team, said: “Placing motor risks requires great expertise and understanding of a unique market where competitive solutions are hard to find and so it is essential that we recruit the best people in this area. We are therefore delighted to welcome Perry to our team. He brings with him 15 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s market and an in-depth knowledge of motor fleet business. He will be a great asset to our growing team enabling us to drive forward our strategy of further expanding THB’s already successful London Market operation and arranging cover for complex risks that others turn away.”
Lyons added: “THB has one of the largest and most successful fleet wholesaling teams in the London Market – I am really pleased to be a part of it and to get on with providing solutions to our broker clients.”
THB’s London Market division is headed by Graham Lawrenson, who joined as Director in July. The division is part of THB’s Lloyd’s broker operation, Thompson Heath & Bond Limited.
