The current soft market is suddenly going to become a lot harder, but for one night only in November, at the Cityboxer White Collar Boxing Championship - A Hard Market?

Representatives of a number of the big name insurance companies are coming together to slug it out at an NSPCC charity black tie event at The Honourable Artillery Company, EC1, on November 23rd.

CEO of Cityboxer group Mark Burford aka 'The Burf' said: "It's definitely the most exciting event in the London and general insurance calendar."

This is the insurance market's second annual white-collar boxing spectacular, organised by Cityboxer, and welcomes back some of last year's contenders including Leo 'The Grey Wolf' Gibbons, of Novae, who will be refereeing a couple of the bouts.

Undefeated champion Alex 'Hellraiser' Ells, of Deutsche Bank, returns to come head to head with insurance recruitment specialist John 'The Hammer' Jones in the most talked-about fight in the run-up to the event, which is expected to attract 500 supporters.

Last year's event raised £40,000. This year, a total of £15,000 has already been raised by Montpelier, which purchased the most expensive boxing vest in history.

The Guinness Book of World Records vest was bought for Montpelier's very own Andrew Simpson.

Andy 'Never Misses' Simpson will be challenging Ben 'Rubik' Cubitt at the Hard Market boxing event.
