Tim Riddell joins Axiom as managing director

Axiom, the outsourcing and consulting (re)insurance firm, has appointed Tim Riddell as managing director of its London Insurance Market Financial Reporting division.

Riddell will head the London insurance market financial reporting division.

Riddell joins from Argenta Syndicate Management Limited, where he was managing director. His role included business planning for the managing agency and syndicates, individual capital assessment, risk assessment and operational management. He was also responsible for developing the managing agency from managing £40m of capacity in 2002 to £278m for 2007.

Riddell was previously managing director at Sedgwick Lloyd’s Underwriting Agents Limited (now SOC Private Capital Limited) where one of his major achievements was steering the acquisition of four managing agency businesses to form SOC Private Capital Limited.
