Management: Chief executive Michael Rea is focused on acquisitions and in January hired finance director Bryan Park from a private equity-backed business to help him achieve that aim.

Strategy: CCV, the spin-off consolidator of Towergate set up in 2006, aims to be a top 10 UK broker by the end of 2012, with GWP of £500m.

CCV has completed two acquisitions this year: Lincolnshire-based broker Lincsure, which it will roll into Fenton Insurance Solutions, and specialist taxi insurance broker Hanbury Insurance based in south Wales. Last year, CCV completed 14 broker acquisitions.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
