Management: John Haley became chief executive of Tower Watson when it was created through the merger of actuarial consultancies Towers Perrin and Watson Wyatt in January 2010. He had been chief executive of Watsons.
Strategy: Up from 37 last year, the reinsurance brokerage continues to grow. Key appointments have included John Weedon, joint managing director of the UK reinsurance team in October 2010. He joined from Walsham Brothers.
