Towergate has hired former Chubb Europe executive Brian Hardwick as its new chief risk officer.
He replaces Sarah Dalgarno, who was appointed head of a new unit to tackle the broking group’s old liabilities in May.
Hardwick has been chief risk officer at insurer Chubb Europe since 2007.
Towergate chief executive David Ross said: “Brian is a great hire for us, ideally suited to overseeing the continuing progress in evolving our risk function and embedding our control framework.”
Hardwick added: “I am genuinely excited by the pace and ambition of Towergate; undoubtedly a compelling organisation which puts the customer at the heart of its risk function whilst balancing the demands of an increasingly complex regulated environment in UKGI.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
