Towergate has signed a three-year agreement with Kewill for the use of its underwriting platform.
The Kewill Insurance Xchange (KIX) will allow Towergate to communicate with its brokers across a common platform. KIX incorporates straight-through processing technology.
Max Carruthers, Towergate group operations director, said: “Our challenge is to create and sustain a flexible and efficient underwriting environment within which all our brokers can trade electronically. This new platform from Kewill is a significant investment in developing our underwriting service to meet broker needs.
