Scott Brown and Andy Westby handed new roles
Towergate Underwriting has made two senior appointments, promoting Fusion managing director Scott Brown to chief executive for commercial underwriting and household managing director Andy Westby to chief executive for personal lines underwriting.
Brown who joined Fusion in 2004 and will be responsible for expanding commercial underwriting profitability whilst enhancing the service and product proposition for brokers.
Towergate said Westby's promotion reflects ambitious plans to develop its proposition in this area. A key part of his role will be to embrace new technology to help meet broker demands and the demands of their customers.
Towergate Underwriting chief executive Clive Nathan said: "Both Scott and Andy bring a wealth of talent and experience and will play an integral part in delivering our strategy.
"These well deserved promotions reflect our expansion plans as we continue to develop our business and ensure a consistent and reliable service to brokers."
