Fusion has "ambitious plans" as it unveils new Scotland line-up
Towergate owned Fusion has made five appointments in its underwriting team based in Scotland.
Trevor Hillman has been appointed as Fusion's regional manager in Scotland, after spending 30 years at RSA .
Alan McKay becomes senior trader after 20 years with AXA where his most recent role was technical development underwriter.
Ian Taylor has also been appointed by Fusion as a senior trader. Taylor was most recently a trading underwriter at Aviva.
Finally, Margaret Miller has joined as underwriting technician and Brian McDonagh has been promoted to trading underwriter in Scotland following more than two years with the firm.
Fusion managing director Nick Wright said: “These appointments firmly demonstrate our commitment to Scottish brokers who demand access to both talented and local underwriters. The new hires join our existing team of skilled and experienced underwriters in Scotland where we have ambitious plans to significantly grow the business.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
