Two-year dispute ends in settlement at Newcastle employment tribunal
Towergate has finally ended a two-year dispute with two former staff who ended up a rival broker Henderson.
The dispute began in July 2009 when Jon Willett and Emma Simkins left what was formerly known as Willett & Ross.
The brother and sister eventually opened an office on Teeside for Henderson.
Their departure sparked a dispute which ended earlier this month with an agreement at an employment tribunal in Newcastle.
A Towergate spokesman said: “The proceedings were settled on terms which are confidential to both parties”.
