North-East firm will be combined with Stockton operation

Henderson Insurance Brokers has bought North-East firm Arlington Financial Services.

The business will be bolted-on to Henderson’s existing broking operation in Stockton to create a financial services arm.

The Stockton office is headed by former Towergate duo Jon Willett and Emma Simkins. The Arlington purchase will add revenue of £750,000.

“We are very committed to our boutique style financial services business and this division going forward will generate revenues of £2.5m, of which over 50% is annually renewable income,” said chief executive Joe Henderson.
