Henderson Insurance Brokers has successfully gone live on the Acturis system, and is the largest independent broker to use the platform in the past two years.

The project involved training up 184 staff members across 10 offices as the company migrated from legacy systems.

Since its implementation, Henderson has recorded higher volumes of e-traded business and reported improved internal efficiencies.

The majority of business is now transacted using Acturis, including personal lines, small to medium-sized enterprises, corporate books of business and some specialist units.

Henderson Insurance Brokers finance director Steve Farrow said: “We at Hendersons are committed to investing in our business to achieve the best possible results. This is as true of IT as it is of any other part of our business.

“We look forward to working with Acturis to ensure we get real business benefits out of the use of the system and to improve further our client service proposition.”

Acturis sales and marketing manager Jeff McCracken added: “Henderson is one of the most exciting independent brokers in the UK, and we are thrilled to be working with them.”
