New appointments to boost broker’s commercial division
Henderson Insurance Brokers Teesside has hired Rob Thomson and Heather Henderson as account executives.
It has also appointed Chris Duggan as business development executive.
Thomson started out in the insurance industry in 1973. He owned Silars Insurance Services from 1980 until 2010, when he sold the firm.
Henderson started in the insurance business in 1978 and was a director and shareholder of Sillars.
Duggan graduated with a business degree in 2007 and worked at Barclays and Santander in business development and relationship management positions.
Henderson Insurance Brokers Teesside managing director Jonathan Willett said of the new hires: “They all bring a substantial amount of experience that will only serve to benefit our Teesside office, and complement the existing strong talent pool that we already have.
“This expansion will help the business grow and develop as well as further improving our client-facing services. All three new members of the team are looking forward to the challenge and I am looking forward to working with them for many years to come.”
