Eastwood hires Henderson broking director

Eastwood & Partners Insurance Brokers has hired former Henderson Insurance Brokers group broking director Gordon Brain as commercial manager.

Eastwood managing director John Eastwood said Brain would be responsible for client work, Eastwood’s relationships with the market and how the broker does business.

Brain said he was attracted to Eastwood for several reasons.

“It was the reputation that they’ve got, and the role, and the time in their development,” he said.

Before joining Henderson, Brain was Bluefin executive director.

A Henderson spokesman was not available for comment at the time of publication.
