Belwood becomes latest senior manager to depart RBSI

Mark Belwood, managing director of the Tracker Network, has become the latest senior manager to depart RBSI.

He will be replaced by Bill Raynal, who has worked on the banking side of RBS as director of credit cards and retail.

Belwood worked closely with Chris Moat, former director of motor at RBSI who left the company in January, along with former chief risk officer Robin Webster.

Moat had been managing director of RBS-owned Direct Line before a company restructuring moved him to motor.

The changes were initiated by chief executive Chris Sullivan to bring the brands closer together.

It is understood Moat, widely tipped to resurface in the market, has left the insurance sector to take up a post at a debt agency.

RSBI has axed more than 100 senior managers as part of its ongoing restructuring.

During the release of the company’s fourth quarter results, Sullivan told Insurance Times that despite the restructuring, morale has remained high with many employees supporting the direction RBSI is taking.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
