James Noon and Piers Winton follow Janine Parker from Marsh

Exit, sign, leave, quit, resign

Marsh vice presidents James Noon and Piers Winton have left the broker’s solicitors’ professional indemnity (PI) team, following the departure of Marsh senior vice president, head of solicitors Janine Parker.

Parker headed up the Marsh team that sourced solicitors’ PI for law firms of one to four partners.

All three originally worked together in the solicitors’ PI division of HSBC Insurance Brokers before it was bought by Marsh in 2009.

Insurance Times understands that Marsh has lined up replacements for the trio, plus additional hires to bolster the team.

Marsh declined to comment.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
